There is so much that can be done without leaving the camp!!
Aside from relaxing lakeside, in the hammock, at the patio or inside, you can:
Go swimming, fishing and boating.
You have use of a row boat, a two person canoe and a two person kayak. All paddles, life jackets, seat cushions and oars are with the boats.

Two fishing poles and tackle are available for use. Small mouth Bass and Northern Pike get pretty big in the lake! There is even an auger and some tip ups for the really brave!!

Enjoy lawn games like Croquet, bocce, badminton and horseshoes.
There are some great trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling which you can walk to from the cabin.

Of course, if you'd like to explore,
Golfing is even better in the Adirondacks:
Saranac Inn Golf and Country Club
Alpine Skiing (Downhill) at Whiteface or Titus and Cross Country skiing right out the front door and at Cascade Cross Country Center (near Lake Placid.)
John Brown Farm State Historic Site John Brown (1800-1859) was an abolitionist whose attempt to free the slaves cost him his life and the life of others. The park offers group tours, guided tours, hiking, picnicking, re-enactments, scenic views, interpretive signage and cross-country skiing in winter.
